On Thursday May 14, 2015, Walthall Oil Company gained national recognition by receiving ExxonMobil’s Gold Circle of Excellence Award at ExxonMobil’s National Lubricant Distributors Advisory Council meeting in Atlanta, Ga. Chris Mahoney, ExxonMobil’s U.S.A. Cluster Sales Manager, presented this elite honor, reserved for roughly 10 of 120 distributors nationwide, to Walthall Oil Company during the meeting. Wesley Walthall, Frank Walthall and Matt Rhodes were in attendance to accept the award.

The Gold Circle of Excellence Award recognizes Distributors achieving outstanding performance in areas such as strategic alignment, brand strategy execution, overall organization, volume and growth.

“This is a tremendous honor,” Wesley Walthall said. “The Circle of Excellence Award could not have been accomplished without the support of our entire organization and I appreciate everyone’s hard work they put in each day. The commitment to safety & product integrity throughout our entire company helped achieve this award and I’d like to thank everyone ranging from the drivers, to office personnel, dispatch, maintenance and sales.”

Walthall was established in 1952 in Macon, Georgia and has since expanded with additional distribution facilities throughout Georgia and Florida.  Their partnership with ExxonMobil spans over 30 years as they work together to provide value to customers.
